Hey there, welcome to my design world!
My name is Angelica Maria Quijano, a Graphic Designer from Bogota, Colombia. When I was nineteen years old, I decided to move to the United States to study Graphic Design! I graduated from Louisiana Tech University in May of 2023 with my Bachelors degree in Fine Arts, and a minor in Sports Marketing. My time at Louisiana Tech was not only marked by academic excellence but also by active involvement in campus life. I was a proud member of the Student Government Association, Union Board, International Students Association, and Phi Mu Fraternity. For three years, I proudly served as the Apparel Chairmen for Phi Mu Fraternity.
While getting my degree, I was a Graphic Design Intern for Aramark Dining Services at Louisiana Tech University, where I spent over two years creating impactful visual content that enhanced the campus dining experience. I also had the opportunity to collaborate with a talented team of graphic designers and illustrators as part of the Lincoln Health Foundation, where we successfully rebranded "Freedom 13," creating a fresh and appealing brand identity.
Upon graduating, I took on the role of Graphic Designer and Office Manager at Premier Promotional Products, a company specializing in promotional and apparel products. In this role, I was the main point of contact between providers and customers, helping them find the perfect promotional items that would positively reflect their events or organizations.
My work explores branding, marketing, and sports. I consider myself a perfectionist who is always striving for excellence; when faced with a challenge, I work relentlessly to deliver a final product that meets the highest standards. I am currently pursuing my MBA in Marketing at the University of the Potomac, furthering my expertise in the field.
